SALAMANDER AT FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2018: WELCOME FUTURE!
In keeping with the motto ‘Welcome to the Future’, Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH (www.sip-windows.com), one of the leading European system providers and manufacturers of high-energy-saving uPVC quality window systems, will be present at this year’s fensterbau frontale in Nuremberg with a newly designed, modern stand, plus other innovative developments in the Salamander world of profiles, on an exhibition area of over 600 m².
One special feature, among others, will be the specially designed corporate exhibition, which goes back in time through Salamander’s history of many years. The reason behind this journey through time is the 100th anniversary of the headquarters in Türkheim/Unterallgäu, which the Salamander group celebrated last year. The refined evolutionDrive lift and slide door, which enjoyed its début in 2016, is the highlight at the end of the journey through time. It focuses on the new solution, ‘evolutionDrive: Free’, which creates an elegant look with its low frame for fixed glazing units. With the frame’s narrow contour and generously sized glass panels, Salamander satisfies the trend for high proportions of glass. The design is rounded off with the superimposed aluminium cover profile in a classic gold colour, which accentuates an almost infinite range of colour possibilities for the premium coating. Salamander’s new lift and slide door also scores points for its innovative, patented solution for tested elements with burglar resistance up to resistance class RC 2. The security mechanism works regardless of the fitting used, and also allows the use of thresholds with flat sliding rails or renovation thresholds in particular. This makes Salamander the only system provider on the market that offers a solution that can be used with any fitting and threshold, in the growth segment of lift and slide doors.
The high-energy-saving Brügmann bluEvolution 82 quality profile system completes the range of products presented at the trade fair. Two elements with new decorative foils will be eye-catchers; Salamander will be adopting these in its colour programme after receiving positive feedback. With a Brügmann bluEvolution 82 front door that boasts tested resistance class RC 2, the system of the future will shine at the exhibition in three designs. Visitors may also be taken by surprise in the Salamander Streamline World of Modern Floating Mullion Variants, for minimised profile widths and larger glass panes, as well as new decorative colours. The product exhibition is completed by the redesigned interior geometries in the 3D system, which promise improvements in heat transfer coefficients. Another plus is the use of existing reinforcements from the Streamline system series.
In the field of sliding systems, Salamander presents the evolutionDrive SF profile system at fensterbau frontale, installed as a sliding door. The smart concept creates the greatest flexibility possible, as it is compatible with all connection profiles and glazing techniques in the Salamander Streamline series. Thanks to the evolutionDrive 60 sliding system designed for the international growth markets, the product range for sliding elements has been significantly expanded. The various frames available in the system allow for a multitude of opening variants, with the possibility of putting in two to three-track opening arrangements, plus a version with fixed glazing. Prefixed insect protection frames can also be built in. In order to meet global needs, Salamander is completing its international product range at fensterbau frontale with the Streamline 60 casement system, which is a window system with a construction depth of 60 mm, opening to the outside. The same steel reinforcements can be used in both the frame and sash, which represents a significant advantage for processors in storage and handling.
From 21st - 24th March 2018, trade visitors can experience further tempting novelties in Salamander’s range of profiles and accessories at stand 219 in hall 7, whilst also participating in valuable discussions with the experts from the Salamander system house. "Every time, we eagerly look forward to what is for us the most important leading trade fair in the world for windows, doors and façades", agree Götz Schmiedeknecht, CEO, and Wolfgang Sandhaus, managing partner at Salamander. Participation serves not only to maintain contact with valuable partnerships and personally exchange ideas between system providers and operators, but also - to an even greater degree - to show our strong presence as a profile supplier on the global market. Because with a superbly positioned range of products, an extraordinarily competent team and outstanding services, we put together a complete and attractive package, one of which we are especially proud." This is also reflected in this year’s motto, "We open more than just windows and doors".
