With this in mind, Salamander offers the possibility of achieving an energetic level for standard windows at passive house level with the introduction of its own passive house line myWindow Passivhaus.

evoCore stands for better insulation combined with a high recycling rate
The main component of myWindow Passive House is evoCore, a sustainable, stable and pressure-resistant high-tech foam core, which is installed in the window frame. This allows the insulating effect of windows equipped with evoCore to be raised to a higher energy level, especially in the case of smaller windows. Thanks to the resulting lower heating requirement and the high proportion of recycled material in the core, the product upgrade has an extremely positive effect on the CO2 balance of the property.
Another advantage is that no additional hazardous waste is produced at the end of the window's service life, as the plastic components of the window can be completely recycled and reintroduced into the material cycle.
Passive house certification
evoCore+ is a tested component suitable for passive house according to IFT Guideline WA-15/ with a minimum Uw value of 0.69 W/(m²K) for climate zone 3.
Corner strength, assembly, weight reduction - evoCore for an optimized installation process
Windows equipped with the evoCore convince window manufacturers as well as end customers as myWindow passive house with a low weight and improved corner strength at the same time. The core made of recycled material is inserted directly into the respective profile and fixed there. This means that no additional screwing is required during window production - resulting in reduced material consumption and process optimization.
