Successful opening of the Salamander showroom myWindow_Experiencee
With the permanent exhibition "myWindow_Experience", Salamander Window & Door Systems presents a world in which the future of the Salamander window is presented as a design-oriented, innovative and sustainable element of the façade as well as the living space. The showroom visualises the multicompatible system greenEvolution, the app-based solutions for the future-oriented marketing of the windows based on the specially developed consulting model, the "C3 principle".

− Orientation towards a design-oriented, high-growth and resilient future
Türkheim, 10/06/2021. The experiential character and innovation of Salamander's design products are reflected in the new "myWindow_Experience" showroom at the headquarters in Türkheim/Unterallgäu. The showroom was originally part of the trade fair concept for Fensterbau Frontale 2020. However, due to Corona, the trade fair had to be cancelled and so the idea for the new, experienceable showroom was born. "myWindow_Experience" clearly shows Salamander's strategic orientation with regard to design as well as the potential of greenEvolution. Visitors learn about the basic principle of greenEvolution as well as the Salamander C3 principle (Climate, Case, Client) and the digital expertise with the app worlds. "We would like to invite our customers, such as window manufacturers and dealers, architects and planners, to visit our showroom. The impressions gained here cannot be achieved through presentations and brochures alone. Here we not only show the design diversity of our Salamander products and the vision of our company, but also demonstrate our competence in the field of digitalisation," say the two managing partners Götz and Till Schmiedeknecht. Currently, guided tours of the Salamander showroom with subsequent presentations are taking place in compliance with the applicable Corona rules.
myWindow: the right window for everyone
The goal of Salamander Window & Door Systems is to turn windows into a tangible, desirable and sustainable design product. For this reason, Salamander does not see the window as a purely technical product, but as a connecting element between building façade and interior design. With light, heat input, view, ventilation and surfaces that can be experienced, the window determines the individual quality of living. The window is also the design-determining element of the façade and must fulfil ecological, technical and safety-relevant criteria. All these requirements cannot be met with a standard, but require intelligent solutions that are configured according to the specific situation, the characteristics of the building, the architecture and individual preferences. Salamander's specially developed consulting model, the C3 principle, is used to find the window that meets the customer's requirements and is ideally suited to the residential property. The factors Climate (climatic conditions and local circumstances), Case (property characteristics) and Client (customer demands) are decisive in determining whether the window choice fits the building and the external influences. The product quintessence for this is greenEvolution, the sustainable, flexible and digital platform for individual window solutions.
Concept of the showroom: the C3 principle visualised in four rooms that can be experienced, as well as the potential of the multi-compatible greenEvolution system
In the so-called Typology room, windows from different eras are shown: 1900, 1930, 1970, 1980 and from the 1990s until today. In another cube, Solar Gain, which simulates the course of the sun in summer and winter at three geographical positions (Stockholm, Türkheim, Palermo), the different light input can be experienced at first hand. The cube presents the course of the sun by means of a beamer and sound. These two rooms represent the "case" of the C3 principle with the themes of building style and suitable window solution as well as optimal light entry. In the "Third Sense Cube", visitors can be inspired by the materiality and feel of special surfaces. For example, a built-in situation shows the possibility of realMaterial surfaces - with aluminium on the outside and premium leather fibre fabric on the inside. The fourth room, the Greta® cube, with the theme of sustainability, presents a very special window made of recyclate in a modern concrete look: Greta® - the better window.
"The showroom clearly demonstrates Salamander's strategic orientation with regard to design orientation, sustainability, customer centricity and digitalisation as well as the potentials of greenEvolution. With innovations, quality, function and design, we are continuing to write the Salamander success story and taking tradition in new directions. We welcome the future with a focus on design and robust growth," highlight the two Co-CEOs Götz and Till Schmiedeknecht.
