Türkheim, 18/03/2021. With its myWindow strategy, Salamander defines its windows as connecting elements between façade and interior design. "For us, the window is far more than a purely technical product. We see it as a link between interior design and the façade. The window shapes the architecture of the house and enhances the living space ", says Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH Co-CEO Till Schmiedeknecht. With the specially developed C3 consulting approach, Salamander windows take into account location factors (light, heat input, noise, wind), specific property factors (including building age classes, building orientation) as well as personal preferences of the owners with regard to surfaces that can be experienced. In this way, the Salamander window becomes emotionally charged and enriches the individual quality of living. All this requires intelligent window solutions, which Salamander configures according to the specific situation, the characteristics of the building, the architecture and individual wishes. Only by taking a holistic view is it possible to pave the way tot he optimum window configuration. With the newly developed premium line Greta, the company combines years of technological experience with an eye for design and timeless elegance.
Greta: sustainable, design-oriented and recycled.
Greta combines the advantages of window profiles with environmental performance. This profile system is produced sustainably: The uPVC used comes 100 % from old windows and production waste and is designed to be 100 % recyclable. In addition, Greta boasts insulation values comparable with those for passive houses. The modern, natural texture in a concrete look not only corresponds to current architectural trends, but also turns windows into a design object that can be experienced. "For us, a sustainable mindset and aesthetic standards go hand in hand: from the very first design, we take the entire life cycle of a product into account. That was exactly what was important to us here. With Greta, we have developed a window that convinces with sustainability, a closed product cycle and minimalist design," summarises Co-CEO Götz Schmiedeknecht.
Greta design and surfaces
In addition to its unique look, Greta offers a haptic experience. With the innovative and newly developed recycled formula, Salamander achieves the unique, modern texture and offers an innovative window system. Concrete-look surfaces are fully in trend, but no one has yet adapted this development to the window - Salamander, with over 50 years of technological experience, is finally closing this gap. The concrete look of Greta can be ordered in the colour shade light grey from selected partners; further colour shades are under development. The natural look not only corresponds to timeless design, but also convinces with its durability. Greta withstands precipitation, sunlight and mechanical stress. It is also user-friendly and easy to maintain.
Salamander Window & Door Systems offers Greta on the multi-compatible greenEvolution system in the free and flex A variants as well as on the bluEvolution system. Especially in the greenEvolution variant free, Greta convinces with its slim design.
With Greta, Salamander Window & Door Systems is once again investing in its sustainable product and corporate strategy. The aim is to improve the carbon footprint, to make an important contribution to the environment and to create tangible, design-oriented product worlds that stay.
